v      Brewster Veterinary Hospital – my vet of choice. Dr. Wilson is a great vet who answers all my questions and cares for my animals almost as much as I do. He works with all kinds of pets from dogs and cats to the more exotic in nature. He also handles wildlife of just about any kind. I never know what might be onsite when my curiosity is aroused enough to ask!

v      The Feed Barn – This is a great store for all your pet’s needs. This is a family run business and it shows. As a regular customer I feel like one of the gang when I stop by for my weekly shopping. They are very knowledgeable folks and their prices are competitive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my animal needs.

v      Putnam County Humane Society – the people who work here are human saints. I am sure St. Francis works through their hands. In the past, when I worked in an office, I donated money, in my employee’s names and gave out pictures of the adoptable pets at this location as ‘gifts’. My people loved getting their ‘animal’ every year!

v      Forgotten Felines – These people spend a great deal of their personal lives rescuing cats. I have adopted three at this point…or was it four. Hard to keep track! You can usually find them on Saturday’s between 1-4pm at The Feed Barn in Brewster. If you can’t adopt, please stop by to donate some cash or food for them to keep them going.

v      Common Ground Dog Training – A unique, holistic, humane and positive approach to dog training designed for optimum results. Let Linda tame your beast!

v      Give free food and care to adoptable animals – I enter this site every day. There is a button to click on to donate food and care to animals up for adoption. You don’t pay, the sponsors do!!! It only takes a few seconds to do! Help when you can.

v      Rainbow Bridge – Losing a pet is never easy. This site is a good site to visit when you lose your friend.
